| Spore is released! 05-11-2008 The long awaited game Spore is finally released! Its been under construction for several years now but finally the revolutionary game 'Spore' has been released. It comes from the creator of the Sims series; Will Wright, and is a game that challenges the player's creativity and modern gameplay ideas. Based around the idea of evolution from a cell to a space faring captain, the game guides you through a expansive galaxy as you strive to advance your race and compete against others. The game allows you to play socially or aggressively depending on how you like to play and is designed for both casual and dedicated gamers. All the creations designed by the players (creatures, buildings, vehicles, anthems, spaceships, planets, clothing) are uploaded to a global system called the sporepedia from which each player can download creations to find them in their own game.
